Honestly love this game!

Ok to be fair I’ve seen a lot of complaints on this game. So I figured I would step out of the box here. Honestly I love this game! I have played every show game ever made! The last 2 years have been well honestly the best two. Do we have online bugs? Of course we do. But the game is just a month old give them time. Is showdown hard. Well some are and some are not. That’s what makes this game fun and interesting! If it was easy all the way around I bet we would lose 50% of players! What’s fun about easy? I like a challenge! I hope you do too? Now that being Said.. let’s Play Ball. With no sports across the country right now this game is my release of frustrating times! We would all love a easy game but after all it’s only a game! Have fun with it. If you get frustrated “we all do including myself” stand up adjust my eyes and mind to some outside fresh air! After that I seem to complete things easier. PLAYBALL!

Game is utter trash. Franchise hasn't been touched. RTTS hasn't been touched. MTO is designed all around DD. It's a cheap and corny system. Can't call up players, can't make roster moves other than what the cpu offers. Gotta keep it basic so they can make you grind for points. Screw fun right? And DD is well nothing but gambling and designed to milk you for money. The cost of their stubs is absolutely insane. To get a 85 overall player, you need to spend between $15-$30 real US dollars. Sadly idiots buy these cards packs. If people weren't so stupid and stopped spending real money, these companies would stop charging for them. Or focus on other modes.
Fielding is broken. Hitting is slightly better. But still broken. I've never seen so many errors in a baseball game. Bugs everywhere. Game seems to have an added rubber band effect this year. Anytime you get a lead, all of sudden the CPU tattoos everything. The broadcastt team is horrible.
opps. Sorry forgot to mention showdown. You know.. the mode you have to spend stubbs just to play it. So those of us who don't play videogames 24/7 and aren't gods. Can't really play it or have fun with it. Nice shady move there by SDS. Make it cost money and make it hard to people blow real money to buy stubbs, just to enter. Classic EA move there.

Haha I love all the stuff he said about DD and Online stuff....couldn't of said it better myself
Franchise hasn't been touched for years yes but its the only mode worth playing in this game, the fielding stuff is fine....the outfield plays awesome but the infield seems to have butter hands too often but I'm guessing its nothing that can't be fixed in a patch. The hitting is way too easy!!! its super noob easy...even on Legend at pitch speeds maxed I'm killing the ball....just finished playing a game and I hit 8 Home runs...last time I hit 8 Home Runs was back in Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run on the SNES. I was using Mike Lowe 1.3 Slider set...I think he's got a lot of work to do....really gatta decrease Power and Solid hits and increase CPU Pitcher hook. -

Well honestly I haven’t spent a dime on the game to have players 85 or over! And not everyone plays 24/7.. now do I have extra time to play right now? Of course! There is no perfect game out there. If you find one everyone should be playing that! Plus perfect games are according to preferences! I’m not sitting here saying the game is perfect! I just saying that this game needs some love instead of the bashing! And actually stubs are easy to get! As far as show down is really easy to get your entry fee back! Especially if you get passed the first show down! As far as the offline line stuff like moments and rtts they were made to challenge you. Not made like the old Nintendo game bases loaded lol we’re we can create a whole team of overall 99 the babe Ruth’s and Griffey’s lol! As far as franchise mode I can’t speak of cause I have not touched it yet this year! There’s just more content this year. Oh btw when you get duplicates from packs list them on the community store there’s another easy way to make stubs! Don’t always exchange them! Some times it’s no worth it to quick sell

Actually you do not have to spend money to get diamonds. You do know they give us free packs and bundles for just playing the game. You get enough cards from XP and Inning Programs to have a competitive team. You also earn plenty of stubs and do not have to buy any. You can also flip cards on the market to make stubs. I know I am not a good enough hitter to make WS but I still enjoy to see how High I can rank up. Events is free with lots of rewards and does not matter if you lose. I use to only play Franchise and RTTS. Franchise gets boring after 2 months of just playing the CPU. RTTO Show I stopped playing in 19 when the completely change how the players attributes change. I like the old point system do not care for how it is now.

I'm well aware of the fact you get free cards and diamonds in packs. And yes you can earn stubbs. But it's such a massive grind. They do this so you buy packs. They give you those players to keep your team somewhat competitive so you keep playing and spend money. Everything with this garbage game is designed around DD. There is a reason Franchise mode and RTTS go untouched. They want those modes to be secondary. There is a reason you can't load rosters into MTO and why you have limited control. As I said. They do just enough to those modes so they can say they did something. I mean look at Franchise. They cloned a feature from DD and added it there. A mode they haven't touched in 4 years. RRTS. WOW instant gains and this corny chemistry system! Massive improvement there huh!?!? The game is utter trash. They are 100% following EA's business plan on best ways to rip people off.
Are collecting packs and getting new cards fun? Sure. I mess with DD a little. But I have zero desire to play others online. I don't want to be forced to play the mode just to get my entertainment. But I do. Because there is no difference from the show 18, 19 or 20 when you play the other modes.

You can always buy RBI. Once again I DO NOT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY TO BUY STUBS TO BUY PACKS do you got it. No extra money has to be spent. The people who spend money are the people who want all the cards the game has to offer or they want the cards as soon as they drop instead of earning saving flipping cards for stubs.

People can spend there hard earn money how they want, just because you do not like it, cause the DEVS do not cater to the modes you play do not hate the users who play online and play mostly DD. This still is the best game. I am not sure what you are looking for in Franchise cause they did touch it this year by adding in the Minor league players did they not do this? RTTS they have touched it that is why I do not play it. Just because they have not touched it to what you want does not mean they have not changed it in some capacity. You are not the only user playing those modes. If other people send in feed back in what they want in those modes that is what you might get. We are not part of those talks so we really do not know what the thought process is. I am pretty sure DD is what most people play and it is where they make there money. If there was no DD, then do you really think Franchise or RTTS would really change? You would get the same thing every year all you have to do is go back and look at the games before DD existed. It was the same stuff every year.

I’ve gotten a 91 overall team with no money spent (besides pre order digital deluxe) and horrible rips’s at launch. Only diamond pull was Ramirez. I have invested a lot of time in the game but that’s bc I needed to shake the rust from skipping out on 19’ You can compete in DD without spending money on stubs.

Game is dope but 19 was better. the pitch speed is to slow on this on and they need have it where you can make the pci smaller. Last year legend was hard this year on rtts even on legend I’m hitting 50 homers as a rookie

I've watched sports games go from solid single player experiences to complete trash because of garbage modes like this. I don't care if I had a 99 overall team that I got free of charge. There is nothing this mode offers that I find entertaining. I don't care if 99% of the people play DD. I don't. Therefore imo, the game is garbage.
And just like Madden. The more people buy into this BS the tighter they will become with giving away free diamonds.

Then do not buy the game why you here, why you playing the game if it is trash, It has been trash for 4 years to some people but everyone who complains every year is still here complaining about the same game. Get over it already go play something else. Go buy RBI.
