Double tap on pitch selection?

Been trying to figure out why when I play some opponents, and I believe it’s cross play only that they are able to lock out my pitch selection. Lock out is likely the wrong term here. Are they guessing my pitch and the game is just letting me know that they guessed slider in case I want to change it? For example, it’s the perfect time for a Randy Johnson slider and it appears the batter thinks so as well because I have to press it twice if I want to stay with it.

That's odd. Honestly sounds like maybe more of a lag/connection issue. Could be why it only happens on cross play to. I have it turned off.

Guess pitch is deactivated for online play, along with a few other offline/simulation features.
