Even the content creators/streamers are turning on the game. Yikes

BR was fun and competitive for me. I enjoyed using most of the cards I wouldn't put in my online lineup, and cards I can't get yet.
Guess I'm just old school. Where I remember cards like Arod went for 999999, if u went 20-0. Cards that used to sell for triple digits when there wasn't a program.Don't get me wrong, I actually enjoy the program, and felt a sense of accomplishment when I hit 100 points.
The point I was trying to make is, I believe more ppl would try going flawless if there were exclusive cards for going flawless. No matter how many times ppl consider Gagne and Mauer "exclusive flawless rewards" those who go 10-0 don't really feel great over getting a 60k card. Unless u know the the rotation that gets u Trout and Ohtani as well.

@TubaTim90
Excluding flipping of course, which you are probably doing if you have over 100K stubs and haven’t spent extra money on the game.
Zero flipping… just playing the game like a normal human.

@aaronjw76 You're oblivious if you think that streamers don't matter on whether a game is successful or not. Don't take this the wrong way, I am still going to play the game. I enjoy it. Also, I'd be willing to bet close to 50% of the community knows who at least one of these guys are and 67% of all percentages are completely made up.
This. And @aaronjw76_PSN I always respect your opinion on things, but alot of changes, for better or worse are usually the result of spearheading from top streamers no matter what the game, as they tend to broadcast the opinions they see from their viewers. Sometimes listening to the streamers is good, but others, like in the case of EA and their NHL series it's a disaster(They listened to three or four streamers who got pi$$y because they couldn't glide and cheese, then suddenly the entire online game became about that after a patch).
I think SDS needs to take a beat and read the room here, now it's no longer a large quantity of vocal Redditors or forum members, it's a very public very loud amount of your streamer player base that is now talking about how the current format/set up is simply not good for the game, and not set up for the average player. The worst thing they could do right now is double down on things out of spite

Well said. OhChev had a review like a week ago where he said the good outweighs the bad by a lot, but that review was heavily tilted towards competitive online and gameplay. It didn't weigh enough the predatory, pack-heavy content "strategy" or the brokenness of the launch. His latest video seems to be a course correction of sorts. When someone who does competitive online exclusively starts beating the drum for play-vs.-cpu players, it means something.

Is the card 60k because bad people can play ~50 BR games and get it or is it 60k because everyone's stubs are low due to lack of content and excess of packs?
But I'm sorry, I can't feel sad for someone who considers 70K+ stubs not worth doing something that should be fun/competitive in the first place. its still an option thats available that most people dont have.
Prettt much both reasons. The card is 60k bc the program allows anyone willing to grind out the 100 points needed to get one. High supply of any card causes the demand and price to drop.
And, yes, most ppl don't have alot of stubs, due to lack of content before today, so that also plays a part in cards dropping in price.If u played BR for 4-5 hours needed to go 10-0, would you seriously be happy with a 60-70k reward? I wouldn't. But throw in a Rrout or Ohtani, then that may not be too bad.
