Who's the hardest pitcher you faced so far?
-
This goes for both online and offline players. For me, it's Captain Kodai Senga.
I faced him several times on BR, Events, and Ranked. He is difficult to pick up, read, and react to.I faced a guy today. He had Senga and I had Burnes. Now, Burnes had a no hitter through 6. "He's my top pitcher online."
Anyway, I had 2 hits through 6 against Senga.
The man throws 99 with a low 80's Forkball.
As a hitter, I go into the at bat trying to predict what and where my opponent will throw. Then react if I'm wrong. I'm usually pretty successful.
Today, my man had me fooled. I rarely ever strike out more than 3-4 times a game. He embarrassingly k'ed me 10 times through 6.
Anyway, I was up 2-0, and Buxton was up. I said, I'm only looking for a forkball low. He throws it 35% of the time. First 2 pitches were high FB, then here comes the low stroke Fork. I mashed that shyte for a 475 foot nuke! Then he took him out.
When he took Senga out, I clapped, cheered, and breathed a sigh of relief. Then I proceeded to mash Dominguez and Bummer for 6 more runs. So who do ya'll struggle against? And how happy does it make you feel when u finally get to the pitcher causing your opponent to finally take them out?

H2H? Senga for the reasons you mentioned. His delivery/release point is just tough to pick up Couple that with a good pitch mix, if your opponent knows how to pitch you’ll really have to lock in to get hits/runs

Senga or Randy Johnson. Other than that no one else for starters. I’ve started to just take away the forkball on concentrate on that.

It's good to hear I'm not the only one who has trouble with Senga. The only other starter I have issues with is John Donaldson. But mainly against lefty lefty.
