CPU hitters suck

I only play franchise, I pitch on legend difficulty and it's so easy. The reason it's easy is because the cpu almost always takes the first few pitches. You can throw fastballs right down the middle and they don't swing. I have to turn up their hitting sliders so when they do make contact it's a threat.
Their ai needs to be tuned to be more aggressive and their pci placement if they have that. I'm rarely in a spot where I need to take a pitcher out because their pitch counts are so low.

Honestly man, I play on Allstar because it seems to be the most realistic settings. Default hitting can be a touch too easy at times but still, sliders. Pitching I find is a challenge because the batters seem more aggressive in their approaches, like I don't get away with the hanging slider if I miss, or they'll spoil dotted pitches with foul offs(shocker). BUT hitter tendencies come into play as well. Just a personal preference but give that a shot, especially if you tweak the sliders

I find All-Star+ to be my sweet spot
