Generational Prospects
-
Had a few already in some test franchises, included 2 in one year after having 1 the year before.
Someone on YT posted that generational players are HS (18-19) and always have Vision 5 points higher than Discipline. Don't know if that's true, but thought I'd pass it on.

I may be stupid, but what makes a prospect a “generational” prospect. Is that a legit thing in the game, or just a way of describing an exceptionally awesome prospect?

Both? Starting last year, there would sometimes be prospects who were MLB ready with 99 potential. That was new.
The 3 I've seen in one franchise this year are LF (82 OVR 99 POT), C (80 OVR 99 POT), and 1B (81 OVR 99 POT). They're all HS to the draft, 18-19 years old. One the first year, 2 the next year. There are years where there are none, sometimes several in a row.
