FREEZE After day one of RTTS Combine

My friend has an issue where he makes a 2-way player, Closing Pitcher (Knucksie) and Center Fielder (Power). Each time he finishes the first day of the combine it will freeze on the part where it says continue to next day and won't let him push any buttons on his series X. Any info or help would be appreciated.
