Im a huge Cubs fan so Im pumped for his card. Has anyone used him at AS level? Im guessing he gets tagged like every other pitcher this year haha

Shocked he’s a chase pack player honestly. Haven’t used him but based on his pitch mix and speeds? I’d be glad to face him

@ballneverlie the only thing that would make him nasty is a very funky delivery that’s tough to pick up the release point
Any pitcher in the right hands can be effective but he looks like a pitcher that would be figured out quickly by talented players

@doobiebross66-72 I can hit Randy johnson and most of thr rlite pirchers but i cant hit guys like senga/ottavino and some others because of the way they release the ball its like you dont pick it up for an extra millisecond or two compared to most pitchers

Agree on Senga, can’t stand facing him. His release point is over the top and glitchy
Come to think of it, I’m no longer using Buxton so I need to swap him and use Senga

@doobiebross66-72 I always forget that he is a cornerstone unless i hsppen to see my opponents linup during the 2 seconds. They shos it this yr before the game

Update: I tried Shota online and it went as expected. Absolutely tagged at the 600 level. Good luck to anyone that can make him work

Yep he is very very bad
i can concur. Tried him several times in events and got lit up like a xmas tree 
. I know events isn't ideal scenario ill try again in ranked but i can't imagine it going much better. And this is with max boosts with Cubs theme team Hitter/pitcher cpts. -

I ran him out in 2 innings last night on HOF. 8-0 and the guy quit. Easy read bad pic mix
