No, they wouldn't. They could just roll the server back to the point where the problem occurred, and all progress since then would be lost for everyone. Then, all of the people that lost everything at 3AM EST this morning would be happy. BUT, all of the people that have played since then, many of whom were not aware of the problem at all, would be shocked to find that their progress from the past day has been wiped. Imagine that you were one of those and pulled a Trout or Ohtani. Would you be unhappy?
I think this mess will be very difficult to clean up without leaving dissatisfied customers on one side or the other. Perhaps there is a way to only restore those that were affected, but it sounds like a complicated process.

Does anyone know if there has been anyone progress like people at least reporting they are getting stuff back?

We know that Koogs also lost all his stuff, so if we see him streaming again with all of it then we know it can be done I guess

@grimmdogg23 I got a response from mlb the show support saying “we are working on a fix hang tight” as I had the same issue as you. That basically took all my stress away they are working on it.

Funny how so many people suddenly pulled trout or ohtani at the exact moments that SDS have issues.

@aaronjw76 I'm not calling anyone a liar, but ad soon as I found out that accounts were being erased I screen shot all my high diamonds, my stubs, my current orders, everything.
I notice on Twitter/X everyone is saying they lost their babe Ruth, trout, ohtani.

@Jr_Trinity same I have played religiously since 2004, I have no motivation to re build, my progress, team, and every single thing I have done...gone! I can't stand nothing more than repeating things I have already done. I have no motivation to play this game right now and I never really had anything bad to say about the show until now. Sad thing is if it dont get restored idt I will be playing at all. I have never felt that way before about mlb. If they can't restore I don't understand how they can't just assign the XP at a reasonable level and have some sort of make good for packs and giving everyone the program progress for all programs that are out regardless of if they are lying or not. The people who actually completed and grinded everything shouldn't have to suffer.

So as someone who has the game in both PS5 and Series x only my PlayStation one was wiped so I have all the progress in my Xbox account but the PlayStation one is non existent and they were linked together
