Worst pitcher/hitter online EVER
-
Pretty much what the title says, I am the absolute WORST pitcher and hitter ever in the history of the game. I cannot get a pitch to come down the middle no matter how long I wait and finally get one, it always seems like I am either too early or too late even when I swing at all. Plus, when I pitch, it always seems so slow and opponents just hit it no matter what. I play on my TV and I'm too broke to get a new one and even my monitors only do 60 hz for them. I looked every video and practice and absolutely NOTHING helps me at all. I don't play online much at all, but I feel I should just give up completely on it.
I am really the worst player ever in anything.

I'm not very good at the game so I just play RTTS and franchise
-
diamond dynasty is hard because when your pitching, the ball moved slow and never goes where you want it to go, but when other people are pitching, their throwing corner dots.
-
Look fastball and jump on it, or wait back for the slower stuff. One good smack at a fastball can actually win some games for you. Good luck!
-
@cbpm72 i tried that but i'm always too late on everything. plus, i don't have a good monitor at all because it is always atr 60hz

If I betted u a thousand dollars for u to get 6 hits in a single BR game, I'm sure you'll eventually improve enough to do it. Practice your weaknesses, be patient, pick up on tendencies, and get your timing down. Eventually u will improve. Don't just look for meatballs down the middle.

Since online is mainly All-Star level, except for higher RS levels and the occasional Event, go into Custom Practice and set it to HOF or Legen difficulty and practice against Nolan Ryan or Randy Johnson.
Once you get used to those speeds, you'll be able to pick up the speed of All-Star better.
Also, while I haven't done this but others swear by it, get a monitor and play on that instead of a TV.
@Blind_Bleeder may be able to assist you on what type of monitor works the best.
Hope that helps.

but i don't have any money or a job to get a new monitor at all sadly
Then just try the practice mode for now.

Sit on the fastball (4 seam, 2 seam, cutter, etc) and adjust to every other pitch. I'm pretty good batting but don't wanna do ranked yet until I can match people with dominating teams.

I doubt your skill is the worst ever…I’m 99% sure the problem is you’re playing on a TV with no game mode and/or slow response time…If that’s the case then you should just play offline until you can get a monitor for your birthday, parents divorce, christmas or whatever. You could be the best player in the world and you would lose most games without a monitor.

Try swinging just after the ball leaves the pitchers hand, it is hard to time and it will feel off at first but you will start getting perfect perfects in no time. Tall players like Judge have huge swings and it takes time for them to sweep across the plate.
O and have lots of patience, i don't play much online but from past experience i can say people will throw a lot of balls or unhittable pitches because other people have no patience and will just swing at anything.
As for pitching try meter and aim for the center red, you should get pitches to go where you want them to .... most of the time.

@IrishFist412 sadly i barely have enough money to pay bills and such plus i'm in between jobs and there are no good jobs out there. maybe i should just give up completely

Try making you a player in rtts. I can only speak for last years game but if you leave it in beginner mode the pitchers just throw meat and you’ll start hitting the ball all you gotta do is hit the x button as the ball crosses the plate and it’ll go somewhere. As you keep completing games (which are very short since you basically on bat four times per game and then it’s on to the next one) you keep gettting to add a little more skill to your player and you can enhance their abilities using different equipment and bats etc so by the time you get to your second or third season you’ll be crushing everything.
As it begins to get easier and easier for you to hit well then you can think about raising your difficulty level and with it your skill level
Will increase. That’s what I recommend and I play on an old tv that can’t keep up as well but if you try what I just told you I guarantee you’ll have success. If you find that you don’t enjoy it even on this mode then hey so what that doesn’t mean there aren’t lots and lots of other games out there that you could enjoy and you can still watch or listen to baseball games to scratch the itch
