Pack Luck Horrid

Typically every year I would spend an additional couple hundred bucks on the game and it was always worth it to me. I would not have the greatest pack luck, but it seemed to gel with the odds presented. This year though, I am not even mildly tempted to spend a single dollar on packs. To say the pack luck is not close to the odds is an understatement and putting it very midly. I don't expect to get diamonds at every pack or even gold, but if I open packs from early release and the only ones I have are the ones purchased through the marketplace. That is not a fun experience, nor does it make you want to put any money towards getting nothing in return. Just wondering if anyone else deals with this too?

Yep. It’s all gambling and takes advantage of those with an addiction to this game and dropping hundreds of dollars on it numerous times for a remote chance at hitting on a big card. To each their own, but in combo with the rise in both price and volume of premium packs, it does leave a bad taste in my mouth for sure. I try to take the game for what it is because I love baseball but the direction it’s going is very clear. I will never enjoy the game as much as I used to.

I hear you! Pulled one lousy diamond so far and that's it. Caved in and bought early release just 2 hours after saying in a post I was glad I saved my $40(2 days after early release). Well, I am saving my 99.99 on the 150K stubs and there is no caving gonna happen here.

This is why I'm so thankful for the free packs that SDS throws at us. It scratches the pack itch while reminding me just how terrible the odds are so it curbs ANY desire to buy them.
Thank you again SDS for keeping my money squarely where it belongs: in the hands of my wife lol

I have opened over 200 packa so far (ballin included) and have pulled a whopping THREE diamonds. Its pathetic!

Ive almpst conpleted all the affinitys half the conwuest map 40 ranked games lead to probably 20 BIAH packs never a single diamond i did get 3-4 low diamonds out of thr regular packs now and got one lucky pull that was seager without that one i would be a poor scrub lmao

I don't buy into the conspiracy theories about them lying about the odds. There is just way too much scrutiny on these things, especially outside the US to risk being caught lying.
Every year when someone has a string of bad luck they claim the odds are lies.
That said, I never buy packs because it is nothing but gambling with your stubs.

I've opened every pack the content has to offer for my no money spent.
Good news: I pulled 16 diamonds.
Bad news: None were 90+ blues.
Most expensive was Riley at 35k.
Not complaining considering many ppl here have pulled less diamonds than me.
Buy if someone were to bet me my first 16 diamonds from like 120 standard and 15 Ballin packs would all be purples, I'd take that bet and lose.. -

Nah I know this game is rigged because just started playing and I’m already getting multiples of bronzes and coppers like what is this pack luck I’m getting. I swear. It’s so rigged

@Shauwn Very similar here. I've pulled something like 12 sub 90 diamonds. Best was probably Julio or Harper. Dupes of Witt Jr. and Hader.
Can't complain but I do want to get one of the big boys soon.

I have gotten like 10 diamonds but all under 90 -

2 - Kershaw's
and a few others ( Albies , Wheeler , Carroll and Tatis) -
200+ packs opened and I got Tatis twice. Nothing else. What also bugs me about packs, the amount of free agents you get. It seems like you get more FA than players from actual teams.

so i have not spent a dime on packs or stubs so all my packs are free, i dont know how many i've gotten, but so far i've pulled Riley, Albies, Betts, Freeman, Soto, and Hader. Thats probably 250ish packs, i could be off, but i've earned enough to finish all the non-diamond teams, I bought Ohtani, Kersh, and Corbin Carroll. I have the final 13 teams down to 10ish cards each including diamonds. So yeah i'd always like more diamonds, i'd say the 2 blues made up for the bad luck other places. Just keep grinding and selling you'll get there.

There are more free agents than players on teams, especially common and bronze.
