Archetype progression Fix?

Has Archetype progression been fixed this year?
For the past 2 years (PS5) whenever I created a character, no matter the position, none of the archetype goals progressed past the silver level. It just stopped recording progress and I could never move past the silver level.
Tried multiple new characters, Archetype types and googled fixes... nothing.
Contacted SDS and they took months to respond and then only said they could not reduplicate the issue. even though i provided evidence.
People said they had the same issue and that RTTS the was broken for it but some people have and some people haven't experienced it.
Anyone have any insight if it has been fixed for PS5?

In my experience, you need to be online to get it to make progress. In the last few years, and also this year, when you lose connection to the internet, you gotta re-establish connection to MLB The Show.
So if you're putting your playstation to sleep while in RTTS, when you turn your console back on it notifies you that you've lost connection. You need to save your game, quit out of RTTS back to the main menu, and open something that needs to be connected, like Diamond Dynasty to get the game to go back online.
Then you can quit out of that, go back to RTTS and start making progress again. It's so silly, years ago I feel like there was a button to reconnect from the quick menu, but that's been gone for a while now and I miss it.
