Be careful while playing. Had a couple of power outages today as I was just about to begin WS and got the notification that I would earn anymore affinity. I get the system being in place for dash boarding but would also have hoped SDS had something in place for people in my situation, unfortunately that’s not the case. Below is email traffic. I also attached a picture in the email showing where there were outages in on base at Polk.. it’s sucks to suck I guess?

Apr 5, 4:22 PM PDTI just finished sweeping the Twins in ALCS and when I went to head to World Series a prompt came up and said. Would not be awarded team affinity. I have been playing today and have had 3 power outages and assume this has caused it. I’m at Fort Polk, LA if there’s a need to look up my area and prove this. I have never cheated or dashboarded. This 5 hours I just wasted of my life is gone because of power surges...please fix this!

Edit: I did get a warning promo after the first outage but I like the rest of post assumed we were good to go after it was down for over an hour. Fired up game 1 of WS and power went out again.... fired it back up after it finally came back home and got the notification

Yep, three strikes and you’re out. Absolutely no way for the game to know the difference between that and an intentional power down so we’re stuck with it.
Possible solutions:
Remove the extrinsic rewards from such a time consuming mode (so only people in it for the experience would play it)
Or
Let people contact them so they can reset the strikes when something legitimately bad happens (like you’ve had) and somehow try and tell the difference between those who are legit and those who are not. That ain’t never gonna happen.
Suggestion is to enjoy the mode for what it is and the rewards are simply a bonus.

Polk is the one place I hope I never end up. I've avoided it like the plague numerous times when a PCS came up. So I dashboarded twice and still maintained my rewards. There must be a magic number built in.

That sucks man, that DOD wide stop move is screwing a lot of people. Hopefully at least the power outage situation resolved so you can get your games in, good luck.

I emailed them about something the day after early release and the ONLY reply I received was the 'Generic 5 Day' reply.
Nnothing since.

My MTO is saying t doesn't recognize my PS4 therefore I get no rewards. It's BS

Did you ever login as a guest on another PS4 to play it? Or reinstall the game? Or change the hard drive? Or change PS4s? Just some things that popped into my head that may (or may not) cause an issue.

Aah, didn’t think of that. Looks like that might be it. I would say the database build, not the settings. Nice to know they could have an undesirable effect. Thanks - somebody had to be the guinea pig I guess!

What did you email them about?
Unfortunately because I email them from my cell, and I clean out my emails once a week due to this being my contact for work, I accidently deleted the original email and the generic response; son who knows.
Probably about an issue with getting a card or stubs.
