Muhhhhhhhhh Joey Gallo! The community would really would like to know...
If stats are used then why isn't Wilmer Flores who had 23 HRs and 22 2Bs in 405 ABs also 100+++ power. Lol im sure you see the hypocrisy (Bias) there falsely overrating players shouldn't be a thing in 2024 unless for some reason there actual stats don't translate well to an algorithm cpu

They use 3 years when rating them. He still gets the benefit of 2021. Wait for his card next year.

@fubar2k7 while true. He was a nice power bat in 2021 however there's guys who don't get the same treatment and are downgraded or upgraded after a few weeks etc

Keep in mind that he also gets stucken out a lot. So you would have to compare how many home runs he has compared to the amount of times he put the ball into play. Also 21 homeruns in 332 at bats is still a very good home run rate, even if you put that towards 600 at bats he is close to a 40 home run season.

Thats 332 plate appearances....he had 282 ABs last season. There is a difference. He hit a homerun every 13 ABs. And strikeouts aside, he's pretty much been consistent for his entire career.

Just for reference, Barry Bonds hit 1 homerun every 13 ABs too.

(I want to point out, i said for reference, not comparison. I am in no way comparing Joey Gallo to Barry Bonds.)

I’m just saying if he has the same 2024 as he did in 2023 his 2025 card will not have 103/82 power. Assuming he’s actually on a team. He’s already bouncing from team to team and now he’s on the 100 loss team scraping the barrel for anyone that can swing a bat.

@Easy_Duhz_It_ that's actually very good I did see his home run rate and I do hope Gallo has a bounce back he genuinely seems like one of the good guys. I just think it's a bit bias. Especially if Trout is only 106/90 power

They have to give gallo something. His fielding is below average, his speed is okay and his contact is spotty. He has consistently been known as a power hitter throughout his career so they classify him as high power.
