I don’t know if it’s possible to get a good cliff lee card, he just doesn’t translate well at all into the game.
The one you want is the year he was with Texas and shut down the Yankees in the PS. They’ve never had that one in the game. Only Indians and Phillies.

Why not? He’s tracking HOF election in 2021, with 70%, next closest is Clemens at 61% and no noteworthy first ballot guys. He’s not friend of the media, specifically the BBWAA and he’s opinionated, which rubs folks wrong.

"Opinionated" is not painting a full picture of Curt.. he's a racist bigot who, despite his clear HOF resume, has talked his way out of being a HOFer for this long. I don't remember anyone ever "talking" their way out of election. Especially when they've never had any inclination of cheating. Which tells you how toxic he is
