"game server closed your game session" with crossplay off

I play on Switch and like to play with crossplay off so I can play other switch players but everytime I find a game in BR the game server closes my session. Anyone know of a fix? It works with crossplay off most the time.

Have you tried changing your jersey to an actual MLB team jersey?

@x814xmafia yes i have kept it as an MLB jersey the whole time. Maybe my opponents im matching up with don't have MLB jerseys though. Could that be it?
