Hitter and Pitcher Team Captains in store only?

Is the only way to earn/get these cards is to purchase them in the Store? Is that how we are to build our Theme Teams this year? Wtf man?? I have to BUY my Cubs Theme team Captains or am i missing something here? Use to be able to earn these in TA

There is 2 each in the season 1 path,the first hitter one is 140k range and 1st pitcher is 225k (I think)
