how to disable quick time plays ?

Anyway to NOT have to do the quick time plays, in RTTS ?
I absolutely hate quick time button mashing in any game.
I've tried to disable them, but can't find the option, anywhere.
I already have player lock showtime opportunities turned off
However, I don't see any option for rtts, specifically.
It's ruining my rookie combine !!!
And, I image, will continue to ruin my rtts career, if they can't be disabled. -
I'm also having this issue. I've changed every setting I could find to no avail. I hope there is a day one patch to fix this. Otherwise its just be a massive waste of money.

You can try turning off "Player Lock ShowTime Opportunities" under Gameplay/General/Misc. Not sure but that might work.

I saw another post on here somewhere that they were able to once the combine was completed but another said it may be possible at some point before completion (but maybe just not at first?) so perhaps keep trying to search for the option after each stage and maybe one of y’all can let us know what you discover

There is a setting for that.
Settings>Gameplay>Control>Player Lock>Player Lock Controller Interface-change showtime to analog
Do it in settings before start an RTTS player and go into the combine and it will carry into the combine.

You can do it ahead of the combine by changing the interface for how you throw the ball to the base. Leaving it as moving the right thumbstick to the time circle is what gives the 5 or 6 random button combination for outfielders. It has nothing to do with Showtime Moments. It's a new mechanic for throws that are longer than the throw from home plate to second base.
