Has anyone preordered the Switch version?

Yeah I know it is the Switch but things are hectic right now and I feel like I'm going to play the game more on my Switch Lite than my PS5 at the moment. I preordered the MVP version and it says it is only 6.5 GB, which can't be correct, I think the game last year was around 40 GB.
Was just curious if anyone else has picked up the Switch version and what the file size was for them. I have to assume it is more than 6.5 GB, I hope it updates some time today so I don't have to download a 35 GB file at 11 P.M. tonight.

MLB 23 ended the year at 22 GB which with updates makes sense. The 24 installation is 6.3GB from what I see on my system

I didn't pre order the game. imma wait till it does on sale because the show ports go on sale very often. I don't like buying full priced

That makes sense. It seems crazy to have a PS5 and not get it for that yet, but for grinding conquest and programs to start the year the Switch really works great for me. I'll get the regular version for the PS5 here in a week or two but the Switch version has its place at the moment.
But as you said the eshop always has sales after about a month or so it seems, so not a bad idea to wait.

switch port run great and switch users are already used to bad graphics so there really isn't downside to me

Yeah I have no complaints with how the game runs, I'll even play some event games now and then and win a few! And the graphics are tolerable so it is really awesome to have the game on a handheld system.

I love my switch version, knock out moments and single player stuff while watch TV with the wife, then jump on Xbox to grind RS. From an application standpoint it's one of the best games I have played for carrying over progress across all platforms

24 on Switch is 360p with lower textures to help get the frame rate up so not as big of a game

@Tylerslikewhoa That makes sense, and I suppose with it missing features like stadium creator that cuts down on the size. I just checked and there was an update for the game, not sure the size but I'll get that downloaded and I should be good for tonight. Thanks again everyone!

So after the update the Switch version comes in at 30.9 GB. So it has some size to it. Can't wait to start grinding for that Justice TA card tonight!

I play on Nintendo switch lite but unfortunately I have to wait til Tuesday to play it
