same ideas for 24 or 25

id love to see maybe a hustle button, or option with risk and rewards maybe.. you hit a triple currently everyone runs the same speed, why not risk a sprint or hustle to get to third, if you get there safe but if not maybe small injury, pulled hamstring or ankle, or something.... same with the crashing into the wall catches.. you make the catch good but if not injury... also foul tips of the feet see a batter walk it off, even the ones off the catcher id like to see foul tips results in some shake up or injury...id like more commentary with players of the week, MILB players as guests, have a player of the month be a guest... no reason not too..

You seriously think if Yasmani Grandal is standing at 2nd and Rickey Henderson is on 1st that they traverse the bases at the same speed?
-
@fubar2k7 no im saying if you hit a groundball to third base why not have a sprint or hustle button to beat the play out, yes someone with a 99 speed should make it easy to first, and someone with a speed of say 70 or 65 speed might come up a step short, why not have a sprint to beat it out...
-
Cause then you've eliminated the point of having speed as an attribute altogether.
-
It might not be perfect, but baserunners and fielders very much do run at their speed ratings.
That being said, a hustle attribute's not a bad idea....
-
@SuntLacrimae50 I don't know if I buy that they run at their speed attributes...at least the AI. I've seen tons of 32 speed guys [censored] near beat out a simple ground ball, or Shwarber chase down a sinking liner in the gap. But when its my guys, anything under 50 and they may as well be running backwards

@Sarge1387_PSN The fielder seems to take their sweet time to make the play more dramatic so it isn’t the runner making the play close as much as the fielder.
-
@jake93436 Remember in 2k7 when you could mash X and make the baserunners hustle more.
Good times
-
lol poor Yasmani Grandal he literally is the benchmark for slowness

@AfterShockGamer i remeberthat and the rainouts that would happen during franchise...then you have a double header
