The wbc cards in set 1 where incredible so now that the copyright has expired what would be a way to make intentional cards in 24
I was thinking maybe getting the rights to the kbo or npb rights or have country based cards like a Japanese styled Ohtani or something like that

Pretty sure all cards they make are intentional.

WBC rights are a lot easier to get because its ran by the MLB and the MLB players union with help from the World Baseball Softball Confederation. Those rights fall under the their licensing agreement with MLB and MLB players union plus it helps build the brand for the tournament and Major league Baseball. All players regardless of MLB status falls under that licensing agreement for a limited period of the time of end of the year. Rights to full international leagues would be a little more difficult and costly. It would be nice have something like that but the game would to crossover into Korea and/or Japan to make it worthwhile financially.
