Who are the players you can use in ranked to get the 500 XP ?

The best way to do it, is to use the pitchers, and utilize pitching captains to boost the card you’re using. 5 innings with a starter will get you 500pxp and some of those cards are totally solid when boosted. I threw 6 innings of 1 run ball with 90 overall German Marquez last night.
