    What percentage of players at launch do you think are still around? Just curious as I feel like it’s somewhere around 10%. Some will come back temporarily when season 6 unlocks all cards from previous seasons but that won’t last. I know baseball in December is a tough sell but this year in particular seemed to run off a good percentage of players fairly early in the game cycle.

    I think 10% is probably accurate. However I still never have to wait long for a match up online. Right now you have two types of player. The elites with 12-0 or WS avatars or the junkies like me with online records ranging from 501-480 or 600-800.

    That sounds about right. I just noticed it when it comes to the market is extremely slow lately both in flips and in availability of the rewards up for sale. When lots of people are playing the market flows better and faster and when they aren’t it stalls out.

    It’s lower than previous years for sure, I’ve turned crossplay off for events and BR to speed up matchmaking, mostly due to the hours I play. But with crossplay off, it’s really hard to find opponents at times.

    You’re probably correct but isn’t that about normal? Don’t most people that play this game just bounce to Madden and NBA2K once those games come out?

    Yeah, I’m sure lots of people bail for other sports titles as well as other games in general starting in the summer months. This year was just much more noticeable than usual. I think last year’s game ended in January and I see the same thing happening this year.

    The comparison that needs to be made is not current player count vs player count at launch.

    The main comparison for SDS is current player count vs player count last December.

    That would be an interesting number but still guessing it is significantly lower this year compared to last year at this time. Of course compared to launch it is much lower in December but this year the decline seemed much quicker and steeper. 99s day 1 hyped the game big time and sets and seasons combined with non sellable rewards and duplicate 99s drove them away just as fast.

    I agree, the market is much higher than prior years. We have over a dozen cards over 750k and other cards are very slow to sell/get bought. While this does always happen at some point, it seemed to happen much earlier this year.

    @whiplash0013

    Yep, totally agree. Some early set cards will come down in the forever program but the BR and ranked rewards are ridiculously high at this point. I’ve been keeping an eye on Hal, Chili, and Ryan for weeks and the prices have all hung around 800K each. Don’t feel like dropping over 2.4K stubs on 3 cards I would barely use. The only reason I really even want them is because those are the only 3 cards I’m missing.

    @TripleH-4481 Agree. For me it's Senga, JRam and Carroll. I don't have millions to spend on them.

    @whiplash0013

    At least Senga has only 1 99. JRam and Carroll have multiple 99s which is this year’s game in a nutshell.

    @BxnnyMxn_ I love that JRam card. I think I'm close to P5 with him, which would be only my 2nd P5 of the year.
