If you're going to make me accumulate stats with a particular card that cards needs to be playable online at all times.

Maybe have one thread with all of your complaints. Just scrolling the first page has around 6 different threads you’ve started. It’s a video game.

My goodness.
That has to be the longest title on here!
Makes me think of this long song title.
Isn't this so true today?

@mcallen05 Point me towards the complaint department.

I need stats with Future Stars Alcantara. It says I can play RS or events to accumulate stats. Except I can't....
Wild Card! (In Ranked, at least)
-
Play vs CPU
-
@SaveFarris I understand I could use the wild card, but I'm just pointing out the difficulty when someone doesn't start from the beginning of the year. It also doesn't help that you only get 1 Wild Card. At least do a hitter and pitcher wild card. When there are literally hundreds of cards that you need to complete missions with they all need to be eligible to play online. It's not like they're the best cards in the first place.

Hopefully sometime in the next few years the sports gaming culture will shift back towards proper season-based modes (ie in The Show it’s Franchise, RTTS, MTO, Leagues) and devs put resources back into improving those. Thats where the fun is at.
Either that or they will bow to social or legal pressure for escalating mental health issues amongst gamers including children.
Personally I have no interest in DD and cards. I already have a job, I don’t need a second. In fact, my day job is way more fun and less stressful than DD grinding!

I can't explain how liberating it is to start the game every year knowing that I won't finish the major collections. That I won't even complete the "other" programs if there are no cards that interest me in the program.
I look at completing 100% of the content in this game like I look at platinum trophies for other games. Extra content and goals for those who want them but not requirement to simply enjoy the game.
I have never forced myself or felt pressure to play the game when I did not feel like playing the game.
-
@Dolenz There was a time I didn't collect anything. Just played and upgraded as I went. My issue now is having to play with cards I do want to just to advance the program.
Quick question. This morning when I logged on I got the bronze, silver, diamond thing where I had to stop the moving cursor. It said I got 7,500 stubs, but I didn't see them added to my balance. I don't know what it's called. First time I saw it. What is it and where do I redeem the stubs?
-
The stubs should redeem automatically and be added to your stub total. Sometimes the stubs get added before your actual spin. It’s a weird quirk. The timing doesn’t always sync up correctly. If you are missing the stubs submit a ticket and hope for the best.
-
@TripleH-4481 Thanks man. What is that? Is that from completing the program?
-
It's a wheel spin, you get it every 25,000 XP you get, it only happens after you finish the XP program
-
Its the XP path program. Once its completed, you get free spins at the wheel every 25k XP for chance at rewards
-
I've landed on Silver twice so far. I got the 5 pack of poo, and the 7,500 stubs.
I hope to someday land on the -
The best spin is actually the boss pack gold. That will get you about 30K. The diamond will get you a chase pack and most likely a 3K 85 diamond live series.

This is where sets are very bad. Not everyone starts playing at the same time. I have player missions that I can't complete because I can't play in the event or RS with them. I'm still trying to wrap my head around who thought it would be smart to limit card play time. Wow.
You said you played the game for 10 years. You must remember what DD was like the first couple years. All the MLB players were game limited. Once you played them for X amount of games they vanished for good. It’s likely a spin on that model except they don’t go away for good.
-
@SkunkyTrees1977 you can use them in mini seasons, you can wild card them, you're finnding ways to complain rather than make things work.
-
@chucky97___ Except I don't like playing the CPU. Maybe having cards expire isn't a good thing.
Bro I played online only for my first 20 days. I had to spend the last 4 days playing Conquest. It makes me sick having to turn into a vegetable to play this game.
-
@fubar2k7 I started DD around 2015. Cards didn't expire then. DD was sold on not having contracts. I came from NHL Hut and Madden. They had contrats. DD didn't when I played
-
Yea DD when it first came out was hell of alot different. MLB cards had 10 day contracts i think. Then you had these fake cards, that ya merged into other cards, to create a better version.. it was cool, i was probably one of the few that liked it
