Mlbts vs Elden Ring
-
Elden Ring was made difficult on purpose and was financially successful.
Sets expiration made it more difficult to compete as you lost some if your best cards and people didn't like it .
I don't know how this will affect mlbts financial success but a lot of people did not like it .
Do you think sds should bow to the complaints of sets. Elden Ring did not make an easy mode for people who complained about it .
I personally liked the sets and seasons I just didn't like so many duplicates.
Should sds get rid of expiring sets to appease the people who don't like it?
I hope my post made sense , I'm old I tend to ramble. -
@jaychvz
It make a little sense, but just a bit...
I think they showed their hand with season 5. Pretty much all 99s tells me they realize most of us don't care for it. The loyal customer base is even playing less. @SchnauzerFace has been an active player and poster for years and he's already done for the year, others have said their playing a lot less because it doesn't matter as much to work for a player they already have three equivalent copies of. I've noticed several people that have helped me out here aren't here anymore. They were at the beginning of the year, but not now.
Other years, people primarily complained about small stuff. "When are we getting a new Aroldis Chapman?" "I hope they put out a new Griffey cause this one's not good enough." This year we're still hearing big complaints. I'm checking right now to see if RTTS has been fixed yet. I don't think it has, but maybe? I applaud them for trying something different, but MLBTS23 has been a total fail, and the sets\seasons has been the prime reason.
If I remember correctly you're pretty new? I really appreciate your positivity this year. If I'm wrong, I apologize. You've stood out as an island in a sea of negativity. There is some bias on my part as you are an Angels fan.
