I’m playing RTTS and I’m having difficulty with hits. When I first started I was going pretty good but now I’m having trouble determining when a pitch is going to the strike zone causing me to swing at bad pitches and taking strikes. When I do hit everything is either a pop up in the infield, a slow grounder or a fly ball directly at someone. I’m using the Directional interface and being an older guy and not the most computer savvy I am not sure if I’m using it correctly. Any help/advice/tips would be greatly appreciated.

You may want to play some "play vs. cpu" in diamond dynasty. It's an offline mode, and it won't affect your career while you try to get the hitting down more.

I am not very strong online, but offline it's easier to figure out what might be coming. First, the AI will throw you pitches where or type that you have shown trouble hitting and/or taking if it's a ball, especially with 2 strikes.

Also keep in mind that with a runner on first and less than two outs most pitches will be their best attempt to lure you into hitting a ground ball.

I am sure there are better hitters that can add to this information.

Practice mode or vs cpu in DD and just watch pitches, walk strike out doesn't matter just watch them until you get the feel back.

Thanks for your input guys. This is frustrating. Anything that I do manage to hit is right at someone
