Manager Hiring/Firing Program

We need one!
A goal could be to hire an overrated Brewers manager with a sad face, and a dopey batting stance, in the same dang division, and screw David Ross over, royally.
Then, you can get a 'rabbit out of a hat' voucher to spend on a manager no Met fan asked for, but was like an unexpected wet Pfaaadt, I mean, fart.
The big prize is a 99 Joe Maddon, who the Mutts should've hired 🤪 -
Speaking of Maddon, the Counsell hiring reminds me a lot of Maddon’s hiring. Ross was well liked and did a respectable job, as did Renteria. Counsell was the best manager available, as was Maddon. The Cubs are also in a very similar position in 2024 as they were in 2015.
I’m very happy with the signing and here’s my reasoning. Counsell is an excellent manager, Ross shares some blame for the Cubs’ September flop, and it makes even more sense taking from a division rival.
I also think that this signals the Cubs will be making some major moves this off-season.

I think having managers over captains would be better next year

You may be on to something there.
NBA and NHL have coaches cards for boosts, but that's in HUT and MyTeam, which is DD-like. Maybe it could work.
Maybe.
