I've bought this game the day it came out, and have played it every day for the last seven-plus months. And during that time, I've have played almost exclusively in Franchise mode with a few different teams and went through several seasons.

This morning, though, I noticed my first issue with it. I started a game and it was raining. Now I always change it to clear or partly cloudy, but clicked through too fast and forgot. By the third or fourth inning there was a rain delay.

    Not a huge deal, right?

Well, one of my players hit a home run before the delay. It was his second of the season (it's still early April), and at the end of the game the box score did not listed his HR. It also didn't give any stats for my starting pitcher, and everyone on my roster had 2 at-bats.

Once I exited the game, it had my one player with only 1 HR, and my SP didn't have any stats because it was his first start of the season.

Not sure if it has something to do with rain delays, but I find it somewhat annoying.

Hey i bet I can answer this…but I wanted to ask - did the game re-start after the delay or was it called due to weather. The answer to your question all hinges on this, because if the game didn’t resume after the delay, then that explains perfectly (according to the rules of MLB) why you wouldn’t get any stats because they game never occurred, officially speaking. It’s those type of cases that has produced some of the funnest days in my life as baseball fan - a day spent at the park watching a double-header.

A game is considered a regulation game once the visiting team has made 15 outs (five innings) and the home team is leading, or once the home team has made 15 outs…regardless of score.

On the other hand, if the game did resume from the delay and go beyond that criteria, then in that case you should’ve gotten credit for your stats.

This seems weird. I never let my franchise games have rain. I just back out of the game and come back in. But before this game I use to let them play out normally and unless something was added into this game they didn’t have cancelled games. This sounds like some kind of rain glitch. I’m glad I don’t let my games have rain this year.
