If it's a ransomware attack, then Nintendo is on the hook, not Sony. The Sony and Microsoft sides are working fine.

Not everyone can. I wish I could afford to but right now I am shelling out a lot of money monthly to pay for the dental surgery my wife went through. Sometimes life situations take priority over gaming. I paid for my switch and game. I expect to be able to use what I paid for. That's not an unrealistic request.

True, you're not wrong and usually I don't get upset about it. One or two days is understandable. This is now 5 days with no updates over 24 hours. The fact that a company cares this little about us and so many people come on here to mock us is what pisses a lot of us off.

Or some of us have the other console too, but since I mostly play on the switch while my kid is going to sleep at night and then on the couch while watching TV with my wife, the other console side is usually later at night. So it is a convenience factor as well.

Nintendo has nothing to do with this. Trust me sds would be making sure we knew it was Nintendo if that we’re the case

Yeah, no way they wouldn’t be passing the blame. Also if it was a fix to software needing a patch, and it was hung up in Nintendo approval, they’d say that too.
Also, people on Reddit have messaged through Nintendo support as well and they consistently keep saying it’s not on their end and to contact SDS.

I wouldn't want people to pass up on playing if they can. It's not the other players fault. I do want people to stop making asses of themselves and mocking those of us who play on the switch. Some of us can't afford the better consoles or have the switch for other reasons like portability. Not everyone lives in their mother's basement with no job. (Not saying you do or anyone in particular.)

They should offer us a voucher to purchase the game on another system because likely I doubt it will be fixed today or tomorrow. As I said before they just don't care enough about nintendo switch fanbase otherwise they would have fixed the issues instead of promoting content that part of their fan base can't access. To be honest....I'm not surprised one bit.....I'm glad nintendo will be releasing better games next year I can replace baseball with.

I’m on your side. You’re more than free to look at any other post I made about cost relative to console. I also planned to get a Switch for portability until the PS Portal was announced. I just can’t see how it’s SDS if it’s just the Nintendo version of the game. Seems like it would be the entire game for all 3 platforms. For it to be limited to just the one it seems to a novice person like me that it’s the console at fault.

If the console was at fault other online games would have an issue connecting. I can solidly confirm that several games my wife and I use on the switch have working online functions. I tested this with all the other games we have when this first happened on Wednesday. This is an SDS issue. From what their statements suggest is that there are separate servers for each platform. They were able to fix the issues for PS and Xbox the same day within hours.
