Congrats Waino, he gutted through it.
Maybe just MAYBE we can also get that Goldschmidt 2022 MVP as well, not sure why they slacked on that one this year. They would have had that one on day 1 if he were a Yankee or Dodger
They don’t have an Aaron Judge 2022 MVP card either. What’s your next theory?
Judge had a lightning 99
What’s that have to do with pre-determined cards likely made during the development process?
If those guys didn’t play like garbage most of 2023 they’d also possibly have a lightning card.

I'd argue that they are not playing like garbage. Is it a down year for Goldy and Arenado? Yes, but they are not playing like garbage.
Goldschmidt is hitting .271 with 25 HRs
Arenado is hitting .269 with 26 Hrs and 92 RBIsSpeaking of Judge, I have nothing against the guy at all and I know he has been injured some but as lets look
His BA is 57 points lower (.311 to .254)
His OBP is lower (.425 to .393)
His SLG is lower (.686 to .578)
his OPS is lower (1.111 to .971)
His ISO is lower (.375 to .323)Last year his Average against RHP was .322 and this year it is .251. And from what I see his CON R is actually higher now than it was at the beginning of the season
Pretty much every stat is less than last year and he is somehow still the same overall that he started the year at. How is that possible?
Meanwhile Goldschmidt has been dropped 9 points and Arenado 5. Did those guys deserve to be downgraded compared to last year? Absolutely. But why hasn't Judge seen any downgrades?

A MS card would make me want to use the Berrios Cap:
Cap S4 Berrios, S3 Leiter, S4 Kersh, (S4 Wainwright), and maybe S4 Carrasco....A Niekro card would work well with this too.

Let me phrase that nicer. If either of them played like Barry Bonds on “the cream” for a month then they would also qualify for a lightning card.
He should’ve been downgraded for sure. That’s not relevant to the lightning card.

I admit I was harsh and I apologize but they’re both having their worse season by OPS in their career, taking out 2020 for Arenado. It could be attributed to the WBC which has hurt players in the past.

You were acting as if Judge didn't have a maxed 99 card when he does, Goldschmidt doesn't.

acting like the cardinals in past years havent been absolutely loaded with amazing dd cards in past years lol.
Cardinal fans whine the most here on the forum about the “lack” of cards they get
I'm on record as saying they don't deserve a thing this year the way they played for 23. But acknowledge Goldy's 22 MVP year with a 99 card, but again I'm barely playing at this point so whatever. No one's whining, unless you're whining about whiners.

I wasn’t saying you were wrong either. I just was pointing out he wasn’t the only MVP without a card. You can’t reference a lightning card. Maybe award winners will come out when the 2023 award season comes around? They’ll need cards to release then after all.
-
I hope you get that card and that you and other Cardinals fans use him a lot. I don’t like or hate the Cardinals, so it isn’t personal. But Wainwright cards have been so easy to hit. Haha
-
@maurice91932_PSN said Wainwright cards have been so easy to hit. Haha
Not if your opponent knows how to pitch with him. His Sinker looks considerably slower than it actually is. Tunnel that with his Cutter, mix in the curve, and you can keep someone very much off balance.
(Of course on AS and below every Pitcher you use can get rocked, unless your opponent cannot hit outlier.)

No Freddie Freeman mvp either.

Personally I can’t wait for Wainwright to retire simply to see what he does next! He’s one of the most incredibly talented human beings and has such a magnificent personality he’d be an awesome sportscaster
