I've played this game since 2015 and I've been a WS player every year. Now all of a sudden I can't get out of Wild Card division. What tf happened this year? Seriously, did something change and I'm just not catching up?

Who knows what’s going on, one game you can be on fire and destroying the ball. Then next few games you can’t hit the side of a barn or catch up to pitches. People complained about hitting being to easy on early release and they screwed with it so bad it’s almost unbearable to play

Cgi extreme. Happens both online and offline. I call it the curse of the good/okay. Pretty much broke the game. But, hey, enjoy the card collecting.

Here is a thought. More conspiratorial than fact-based, but quite plausible. Surely would fit into a marketing strategy by a gaming company.

I believe every year SDS chooses a random set of userId's to "relax" the AI on. Perhaps set most of their online experience to "Veteran" difficulty or whatever. Those are your consistent 800 folks.

By doing this SDS has created a "point of reference" that the fan-boys can recite to argue the game-play is based on player skill not AI. Really isn't another valid argument I've ever heard than this. Don't know how many times I've seen some one type "It has to be real or so-and-so wouldn't always be 800+". Well, my response is "you have to be gullible" to believe that's any sort of quantifiable metric. Marketing...pure and simple.

I still think it has as much to do with the timing window as anything else. Could be if your connection isnt perfect it causes problems. That would explain why it feels good one day and terrible the next.
