With conquest, headliners, and Rs/ Br Rewards? Yes. With XP and events, I'd argue we are getting more than last year. With individual moments, no. If you are considering showdown as a replacement for moments It closes the gap. If we had a season going on right now Topps now moments would put us at the exact same amount of content as last year at this time. Adding historic topps now moments every week would satisfy everyone IMO
Hmm...I didn't think of Showdown as a replacement for moments. Good point, although I find Showdowns (while very interesting) extremely frustrating!

Meaning what? Given we dont know whats coming. How exactly are u doing this? Getting what and can and looking at lineups gaps? Buying packs/players and saving for what u need? I dont understand the relevance of the vague comment

The only difference between now and last year at this time is Topps now moments. Inning specific moments have been replaced with Showdown.

You mean the ones that were harder than moments extreme and almost no one actually completed because they gave garbage cards? good riddance

It just makes sense. They were definitely scrambling after the season got suspended, so naturally they’d have to take time to figure out what they’re going to do.
Might as well just go with the planned content as best you can for the 1st inning, and work on figuring everything else out for the future right?

I suppose, I forgot about those. They were impossible so I never tried them after the first day.

Didn’t we have way more events by now? Last year we had those Mexico series events and stuff.

The first mexico series games were played april 13 and 14 of last year. So no, we didn't have more events

I guess, but last year there were days between events and this year the event has been going since day one. You can complain about rewards, but they just added more up to 150 wins. I'm sure most people will never see 50.

The real difference this year is SDS almost hasn’t even touched flashbacks and legends yet so while the content is on par with last year there is much more to come this time around.
With FOTF and Prospects they added over 100 cards without removing any of the breakouts and all stars we normally get
I’m pretty sure they’ll have one of those “biggest content drops in DD history” days coming up soon and it will really get put into gear.

FoTF is just a replacement for the same level rewards in Team affinity last year. Same with 30 of the prospect cards, and we didn't get 30 silver flashbacks we got last year in Team Affinity as well

All good points, I think a DEV team from @SDS_Jax should explain to us how COVID and the quarantine is affecting and will affect content release going forward. I think we could use a little more transparency from SDS on this. I'm not being critical, I just want to know where things go from here.

We likely won’t here anything from them, and I don’t blame them.
With how fluid the situation is right now, the last thing they want to do is confirm anything or make promises they potentially won’t be able to uphold.

We likely won’t here anything from them, and I don’t blame them.

It's definitely a fluid and moving target! I know DICE LA cancelled Chapter 6 from their Tides of War program in Battlefield V.

Exactly, every diamond gold and silver that was available in team affinity last year is still available for new content. They’ve put out the same amount of content as last year and still have everything available from last year because it’s been manufactured so far.
So...fairly soon just like every year they will most likely hype up the “biggest content drop ever” and add like 50-100 cards all at once. In the mean time they are probably strategizing for what to do for the rest of the year if baseball doesn’t resume.
They have content they’ve made, and some the MLB creates itself, when they are missing the MLB content like they are, they aren’t going to release all of what they’ve created and leave themselves with nothing.

I wish they’d do more mid-tier FBs. Those “Team Epic” packs last year were awesome (would’ve been way better if they released those earlier in the year though). I wish they would do more stuff like that and have more current players as usable options.

Historical Topps Now sounds good, but it's gonna be a rights nightmare. (Anyone seen Tuffy Rhodes in the last decade?)
