Where are you at with Set 3 heading into Set 4?

I have collected every card the last 4 years but have no interest this year. Once I finish the set collection thresholds, that’s it ( and I just lock in the no sell or cheapest cards). I could probably go and buy all the rest as I have plenty of stubs but I don’t see the point this year.
I think if there is a final collection , it will be using the collection rewards from core, seasons, and the oddball programs ( Extreme, TA3, etc). ,

I need 20 more cards to get my 3rd choice pack for Set 3 but also have lots of content I need to do, still have most of the AL central TA3, two weeks of Topps Now, half the moonshot program and half of extreme

There’s the GOAT collection which is packs and stubs. Wouldn’t be shocked if the end result is a card unlock.

I think my Core collection is in good shape in case SDS brings us a second card after Corey Seager.

I would’ve been done had I not gone from playing all day to just a couple franchise games a day once Gameplay XP broke on me and I couldn’t fix it. I trying the uninstall method a few times and got nothing then gave up. I didn’t feel it was worth putting in the time if I wasn’t going to get the XP. I’m not even close.

Set 3 - 287/300Ready for Set 4 to come out!

Set 3- 260/300Going to actually finish up the last week for August Topps now and give Extreme a shot (I am at 15 having gotten Marte), so I may get to 270 or so for Set 3.

That’s completion this year to me as well. But I know some people are still after filling the entire binder and we’re speaking in those terms

Thank you, i like to try to get every card. All the cards i need now are over 200k so the real challenge has begun. Hopefully the set 2s fall in price once set 4 comes out i really want those Dibble (Nasty Boy) and Frank Thomas (Big Hurt) cards
I was the 8tj person to p5 Nasty Boy, and immmmm not sure he's anywhere near worth it
. He's better on high difficulty (hof/legend) but wouldn't use him on anything less. I think a guy like Felix Bautista is better & easy to obtain. Idk. If you like a guy IRL etc, go for it! -

I am 15 cards short for Set 2. (I can get them by finishing TA 2)
I am over a 110 short for Set 3!!!!!!
Do not like how this year’s collection are set up. A huge huge huge turnoff.
To put my frustration in perspective, I’ve finished every program except Extreme (at 9 points) and Moonshot (at 30 points). I don’t see me collecting 110 cards from finishing those two.
An update: ( I consider a set finished when it says “complete”)…
Bought the cards needed to finish Set 2.
Finished Topps now and a conquest map (Life).
Still need over 90 cards to Complete Set 3. I estimate if I finish Moonshot and TA 3, I’ll still be 15 or so short to finish. I’ll need to buy those.
Mostly, this update is to post that the TA program this year is way way way too much grinding. SDS needs to go back to how it was in 2021. Yeah, some finished in a day/week, but it sure was fun!

The people that finish the grind in a day or 2 are the goons and hardcore players that will be there no matter what. By scaling back the grind required it will make it much more friendly to those that have busy lives outside the game. No matter how much SDS raises the bar there will always be people that no life the game and finish in a day what takes most people weeks to accomplish. I implore SDS to start listening to their player base and stop catering to the 1% with endless grinding. Living on the game makes it less enjoyable not more.

TA Season 3 I’m at 62/90. My sets are Core 138/180, S1 152/260, S2 265/300, and S3 220/300. I finished the LIVE collection during season 3 as well but I’m still hurting from starting after S1 was already in the books. I feel like I’ll never catch that one up

Core - 180/180 (haven't paid much attention to these since finishing the Seager collection so if there's another I'm SOL)
Set 1 - 210/260 (whatever # of cards was needed for the 2nd pack is where I stopped)
Set 2 - 300/300
Set 3 - 300/300 (hadn't played for a week so I caught up Topps Now yesterday and bought the 18 cards I needed for the 3rd pack)Not playing again until Thursday or Friday. Set 4 might be where things start falling off. Baldur's Gate 3 is out for ps5 on September 9th I think. Reviews are off the charts and I can't wait to play.
