SDS please make straight up defense the default.

I can't tell you how many hits I given up because my outfield is shifted way over . If i want an extreme shift I should do it . But I mostly want a straight up defense. I know I can adjust, but I forget and a routine fly ball is a double.

Why don't you just set this up each game? Takes a few seconds.

I know, but I forget , and I don't remember until it's too late . I think straight up defense should be the default anyways and then adjust defense if you like . Imo shifted defense hurts you more in this game .

I wish I paid better attention to this as well especially when they’re all shifted in one direction and I’m pitching in a way that is totally counterintuitive to it lol. I’m like you man I forget about this all the time. Especially with the lefties ahi against a righty pitcher I like to paint the outside black yet my outfield will be shifted to the pull side. I get myself roasted by this at least once or twice per day of playing. I guess it could be woise.
Sounds like both of us need to figure out a way to remember this haha but you got me as to how. I’ll have to try and take a little more time getting to figure out this interface who knows it might make me better lol but I doubt it!
I’ve not looked in a while but i think there’s a way to set all of the batters to straight up defense all during the first batter so if we can remember to do it then we shouldn’t have to fool with it again until the next game. Oh who am I kidding I’ll never remember

I didn’t either brother. This is yet another positive impact this forum has had for me and the list is ever growing. I mean the sliders and settings on this game give me such anxiety. After I first read that warning message about tampering with them effecting XP I’ve never touched them again. I used the settings to disable that occurred pci and change my batting angle and that’s it.
Anyone wanna help a poor confused fella to find this setting? If so I’d be most thankful

Go into your game settings up there where your profile is on main menu and set this up then go where the dots are and click set as default
