Account linking

I've unlinked my ps5 account from my the show account and don't have it linked to any other account. But when I go to link it to my xbox I get the account exclusivity error does anyone know a fix for this? I've done the step by step emails you get sent by people but still have no solution.

Why did you unlink your PS account? All of your progress is going to be on the account you’ve been playing on, so if you began the year with your PS5, then you need it linked and be your primary account when you link your Xbox. If not, then never mind.
