Trouble Hitting Homers?

I'm playing with a power archetype player and I have my contact and power numbers both around 100. I'm hitting for a high average and getting a good number of hits, but I've never had so much trouble hitting home runs. Anyone else experience this?

Try a new swing? I had real good luck using Kiki Hernandez’s last year in the game so I picked it for my players and did pretty well with mine…it might be worth a try since you have the numbers for good results it just might be the swing. Just changing it around might give you the boost you’re looking for.
Just a suggestion but regardless of what you try I’d like to wish you the best of luck.

Hey man, thanks a lot for the suggestion. I was going to give the Kiké Hernández batting stance a try, but it doesn't look like he's in this year's game. I ended up switching to Mike Trout's stance. I've knocked out several more home runs and I like his swing much more overall than the one I was using. I also just kept adding to my power ability, which seems obvious, but I assumed it should have been high enough already to have been doing better. Doing much better now!

Fantastic! As you perform moments or come across other players in other modes where you like the particular swing or find a particular player who you have success of love their swing then take note of it and give that/those player’s swings a shot as well…until you find your perfect one (if you’d like) but Trout is an excellent choice!

The clicking sound? If so that needs a much more creepy sounding name. I love this movie although my wife has banned me from watching it (this is the honest truth) due to my “repeated obnoxious AND feeble” attempts at sounding like Ahhnult when he says “Gooooo! Get to deh chohpah!” See? Wasn’t it authentic?

Seriously what’s wrong with having to “Gooooo! Get to deh grocery stooh” or “Goooo! Get to deh schoo bus” or ANY of my other thousand iterations that I use for the week following seeing Predator? I LOVE that movie!
