Why is it players can’t get a single and all of their hits go for HRs online?

This is a serious question why is it a majority of the hits I get online are either singles or doubles while people I play against are hitting 90% of their hits for HRs? Many on balls outside of the zone and on late and early swings. It sincerely makes this game feel horrible and unfair to play online.

I’ve played people that have struck out 19 times but hit 8 homers so I know these people can’t use their pci or time up pitches that well.

I’m striking out about 8 times with pretty decent pci locations and timing. People can’t be getting that lucky consistently. I have a great connection that’s super stable and I really want to enjoy the online but it continues to feel erratic.
