maybe not pitcher and hitter per se but I would like a wild card for each expired set so when set 4 comes out I get 2 wildcards. Even if its restricted where I can only take 1 set 1 guy and 1 from set 2 I think it would be more enjoyable to play and reward players who simply hit/pitch well with guys that did not receive multiple cards. There's a lot of ways to handle the wildcard if it stays but the 1 player shifted endlessly feels meh to the point I don't find a reason to use it.

I don't mind it , I think it forces you to be creative on your team build with captains and such , plus you can use all your cards on casual and vs cpu . There's events where you'll be able to use old cards . I hope it stays .

Something needs to change. The wild card stemmed from the 99s at launch to accommodate people complaining about waiting forever for their favorite cards to be released late in year. So in order to counter the “everyone has the same lineups”, we got captains and wildcard use.
They tried to find a solution, it just didn’t work as the majority hate the starting over every 7-8 weeks and grinding to death

They could but then they wouldn’t have an excuse to recycle the same cards over and over again. It’s one thing when you get a recycled card that’s a vastly different overall, it’s another when there’s multiples of the same exact overall.

Agreed. I haven't given a single care about the live series collection this year because you have better options from day 1.
I don't they change it back to how It was. Sds has went full Madden, and is now just chasing money.

Be my friend?Yep, this is the first year that SDS has implemented this expiring card thing. It was a shallow, money grab move, that I hope goes away. It will hurt them in the long run.
Yeah my favorite player groing up was Eric Davis. All of the possible handles for him were taken, so I had to be a little more creative. In WV, you were either a Cincy or Pitt fan... and I loved those 70's-80's Reds teams.

100% percent, sloppy release. Releasing 99s of a card before 95 and 97 versions. I think their devs were drunk this year

And I had the best pack luck I've ever had this year. I know one guy won't make a difference as long as the brain dead sheep keep buying though

This was the first year since my first ('18) that I didn't pre-order. I got it a few days after release having not read or watched anything relating to this year's structure. If I had I probably wouldn't have bothered with it. Expiring cards makes absolutely no sense in an ultimate team mode, at least not the way they've done it. I'm supposed to buy a 97 Chipper Jones so I can collect it so I can finish this lame program from Friday? When I've had 99 Chipper for 4 months?

I went from spending $2000/year on this game to spending absolutely nothing this year. Maybe one guy can't make a difference, but this guy is trying lol.
