Make bunting require a pci

Im honestly getting tired of the amount of bunt cheese I see in this game. Half the people who can’t hit just load up with a bunch of 99 speed players and abuse the mechanic. If they had to line up a pci I guarantee that most of them couldn’t bunt tying the bunt to a simple button press is a mistake that could be easily fixed by requiring a pci that needs to be lined up to some degree.

Not sure if you already know, if so then ignore this, but once I brought the 2B in and play the 3B in bunt defense I have been able to stop like 95% of attempted bunts. The weak spot is usually that area in between 1B and 2B where they drag bunt it to and then beat it out at the bag, bringing the 2B in prevents that from happening.
But again, if you already knew this and you're still getting cheeses, ignore what I said. -

Yeah I agree. But the method I described combats it pretty effectively. Just trying to help since SDS is clearly not changing anything.

Doesn't always work but high fastballs gets them to pop up the bunt sometimes.

Im tired of all the late hits on pitches out of the zone for homeruns etc you can’t objectively say this game is good product in its current state. Trust me the developers don’t care or they are embarrassed by this game if they do care. You can’t continue to put games out like this for years and it doesn’t catch up to your reputation.
SDS has soiled their reputation with this game whether you like it or not. It wasn’t too long ago maybe a couple of months when people would defend the game non stop but the longer it goes on the defenders of this developer don’t have a leg to stand on and those voice have gone silent. This forum Reddit and Twitter are all extremely disappointed in 23. 31 of the 50 threads on the first two pages are grievances against SDS.

Dude…If you bring in your 2nd & 3rd baseman all that’s gonna work is the occasional bunt that dies between the mound & home plate. And between pop ups, pitcher warp animation, ect…They will at best successfully bunt 20% of the time - At best.
The point is it shouldn’t be that easy to bunt there should be some sort of risk reward. The people that pull this cheese load up on 99 speed guys so what sacrifice a hit on the chance they’ll decide to start cheesing.

"Bunting" is part of baseball, example: if i have 1 out and 1 guy on 2B be sure i'm looking to capitalize on your weak defense to move that runner over. As they say "that's just baseball".

If someone takes a speed/contact squad into a three inning game, at Polo, on Hall of Fame, I don’t fault them. It’s my job to defend against it, plain and simple.
