Ranked seasons can be both good AND bad

Hear me out, I know a lot of people say “omg I see no issues” all while we have another group saying “dude ranked is so bad”
I’m pretty sure game play is a whole different world on different levels.
Let me tell you about the game is just played to explain my rationale.
Playing a 16 bronze 6-4 in ranked and a 363 rating.
There was 6 homeruns before the 4th ended. And 8 total at the end of the game.
And these aren’t on piped fastball, off speed all over the zone, in/out, low/high. This person hit 5 alone. So yes, while some higher up may not see the issues, I promise they’re happening. The end score ended up being 8-7 and I took an L, that’s the only time this person scored was off of 5 homeruns. So please understand while you may not be having issues directly related to game play in 8-900’s they’re happening down in the cellar.
I didn’t even feel like I could throw a ball in the zone or it would be hit out. Just no explanation. So although YOU personally may not have the game being decided for you, some of us are.

Your right though, the majority of players play at the mid to lower levels and the amount of bs was too much. I’m not going to keep playing a game where wins/loses are fake...fabricated by the game to keep players active.
Errors, rewarding bad hits and new this year...controlling your pitch location, all by design to influence outcomes. When there are micro transactions in a game, you’d be a fool to think they don’t do everything possible to retain players. Sure, this game doesn’t push micro transactions as much as others but the temptation is still there. Look at how their pushing pack sales this year.
Anyway, if you like the game and can deal with the bs, good on you, I can’t stand to see myself or my opponents win/lose on bs controlled by the game so I deleted it.

So let’s move on to game 2.
Kid is swinging at everything. A curveball at the knees he hits out for a homerun. It’s his only hit so far through 3. I have a runner on second, and the ball gets past the catcher, I hit to send him, and it stands still. Now here’s where it gets fun! Runner on second and first, 1 out, a foul pop up close to 1B, my runners take off. They didn’t stay close or retreat on the quick pop up in foul territory. By the time I see him catch the ball I notice my runners aren’t in sight and I’m cooked. This isn’t normal. Why is this happening? Ohhh right, the game is being controlled.

I feel like the other side needs to understand that too though, a lot of people say we are SDS shills etc if we say we don't have issues, we're "blind" etc.
Also I have a tough time listening to someone who calls his opponents 'kids", why do you need to insult your opponent to make your point? Just tell it like it is without demeaning your opponent who isn't at fault.

I was playing on hall of fame and saw several negative exit velos on good squared and good good today. It’s annoying to see the same problems we saw last year that everyone collectively hated. Plus too many good okays that should not be good okays. Game was a lot more rewarding before patch 1.04, but I guess we make due with what we’ve got

I agree, hitting isn't perfect, far from it. There are a lot of issues. But when I read criticism, and it starts out saying "Kid is swinging at everything".
Why not say my opponent? Saying kid is talking down, demeaning the opponent. There is no reason for that. It makes what would other be fair criticism out to be that the writer is "mad". -

But it’s not the opponents fault I get good okays in the middle of a pci or get a good squared fly out when it’s lefty power bat and a righty pitcher.

Moving forward the person will be called “the other person”

I'm just saying there is no reason for it. Not in this context, saying kid is talking down, trying to raise yourself up by bringing the other person down. That's how it comes across. As I said, it turns what otherwise might be valid criticism into something that looks like the opponents made that he's lost.
I know that wasn't your intention or that your just "mad", but that is what it reads like

I agree. Even though it’s my habit, I’m very aware it comes off as snotty.

I mean this person left a Clevinger in w absolutely 0 stamina, and he was putting stuff in the zone that wasn’t getting play at all. Innings 5-9 were Clevinger with nothing in the tank. An empty tank clevinger is getting outs? Lol I’m telling you, if the game doesn’t want you to win. You won’t.

Played my last game today and it was the nail in the coffin.
Groundball to my SS, he runs to the left with the ball coming right to him. Couldn’t control him, it was like the game had control of him for a second. By the time I regain control, it was too late, runner reached first. A short time later, pop up foul about 5 feet from 1st base, Freeman doesn’t lock on and runs towards the dugout instead of making the catch. Okay, slider down and away out of the zone, NOPE, game grooves it down the middle....3 run HR.....Too much influence from the game itself for my liking. It’s like their not even trying to hide it, it’s obvious.
I really tried SDS, I know I’m just a small fish in your pool but it’s still one less fish you have.

I hope and pray that someday the government bans this [censored]. These card packs are nothing but a form of gambling. And though I love to gamble. I only do it when I can win real money in return. Not some silly little card that has a rating on it. But so many people don't mind spending mommy and daddy's money. So it makes this [censored] unplayable.
I wish I had something else to play. Especially now. Being locked down and all. Too bad I ran through Death Stranding like there was no tomorrow.

I used to spend money on these games, not a lot but some. I wanted a longer lasting value than a digital card that becomes worthless when the new game comes out.
Started buying real cards, specifically Acuña since I like him. On top of numerous parallels, variations I have a bunch of his Rookie cards and 3 Autographed cards. I’ll slowly keep growing it over the years and pass it down to my son when the time comes for me.
