Ok I just read this whole thread…What NR7LES said in the original post is all true. He said what he said & backed it up with facts…Then that Canuckler troll showed up & hijacked the thread with his usual shenanigans and the thread became a mudslinging thread instead. When are you guys going to stop feeding this troll? He’s clearly one of these keyboard warriors that’s tough because he can hide in anonymity. He wouldn’t say any of this stuff to you in person & he knows it. Nor would he ever meet any of you in person for a physical altercation. JUST IGNORE HIM.
Most people know my real name ️ also, why would anyone meet for a physical altercation? That’s psychotic behavior lol
You’re definitely right though, we should definitely make this game an echo chamber for guys like Nr7les (Sammy77), bestpal, Skippractice, sorry the game isn’t what you want it to be, hopefully you can find a game better to your liking that doesn’t effect your mental health like this one does. And yes, I would definitely say that to your face.
You really enjoy grinding recycled cards huh
Honestly the grind isn’t my favourite part but it is what it is. Most of my favourite players are in the game so I’ll grind for them.
-
So ya never denied it.
-
I have no input on this game only that reading this thread I just felt meh at each points from both sides. So yeah, meh is how I feel about that and the game in general

I think it would actually be a great idea
As do I. Then we would see skills actually matter. The top tier players would still be the top tier players. OP is right, he criticized the game and the white knights of SDS came out in droves.
Having speed and PCI changes at every level is bad. Even on the lower levels. When I first started playing late in the 21 season I got to the borderline of veteran and all-star.
Between a string of rage quits and a couple of connection drops by my opponents I got bumped into all-star and was not ready for it. A string of losses followed, and I dropped back down to veteran, and again, string of rage quits, and I kept going back and forth between two levels and couldn't get a consistent game setting.
At that point I gave up on RS until I moved to 20 and yes, I am a weak hitter, but not as bad as I thought. Recently on the reddit thread someone showed a graph chart and something like 75-80% of all online players were basically in the lower levels.
Since most of us are on the lower levels leaving settings across the board should not make a difference if all the white knights consider themselves so superior to us lowly commoners their skills should keep them at the top.
Unfortunately, they don't want any changes unless it benefits them and ONLY them. Commoners like myself should just "shut up and take it". Well, I didn't get 22 or 23, and with the halfhearted effort this year see no reason to get 24 unless it's a complete game with no bugs.

Look, I’m not going to drag and trash the devs/game like NR7LES/bestpal/Skippractice because there are things in the game I don’t like. On the flip side, I’m not going to slurp the devs/game like Tylerslikewhoa because there are things about the game I enjoy. Why? Because at the end of the day SDS is a video game studio that neither cares about me as a person nor if I play their game or not. No post of yelling on this forum will change anything SDS does. It’s like having kids, whining and crying isn’t going to get them what they want. When the surveys come up I do my best to offer constructive feedback based on my personal experience as others do and SDS will choose what to do with the game going forward. From there I’ll choose to buy the game or not, if I do cool. If not, the sun will still rise, the world will keep spinning and SDS will continue to move forward as if nothing happened because we are irrelevant to them. More people need to realize this.
This is so wrong my dude. This community feels like it can’t create change because SDS doesn’t listen to its players as much as they should, and people like you. People like you are a deterrent for gameplay change. That’s why it’s so frustrating for payers who critique the game.

Saying this game is trash or you’re a shill if you enjoy it is not critiquing the game it offers nothing constructive to improve the game. I critique the game plenty. Unless you missed that part where I said I fill out every survey and give actual feedback.
This game should not be doing this to you like holy guy, you should not care this much about a video game. If you can’t create change who cares? It’s a video game, go create change in the world, not a video game.

I think you’re wrong about creating change. The game has changed a lot in the last five years. Even in those little promo videos they put out they say, “We listened to you and now you’ll see [such and such].”
From pitch speeds to check swings to building more than one line up to conquest sim speeds—they listen to the forum and they do make changes.

You have offered no constructive criticism. Saying the game is trash is not constructive criticism. It’s like in leadership or in a team setting if say to some one “come on” you’re literally doing nothing.
My hours the game has on does not change my level of care. If I stopped playing today nothing would change in my life.

What sort of "gameplay change" are you trying to get by calling other players "no lifers" because they've played more hours than you? What exact gameplay change do you expect to come from that?

You don’t like what some people post but that doesn’t mean the forums are ignored by the people that make the game. I’m sure the surveys and the forums give the company feedback that they use to make the game more responsive to the demands of the public.

I’ll converse with you without disrespecting. This is my opinion:
The game is simply too hard. Years ago the casual player could turn on a fastball, check swing on a breaking ball, and score some runs. But back then this forum was awash with people complaining about how their opponent scored a run when they shouldn’t have. “Skills don't matter” was the most common refrain.
Now you almost have to be a machine to hit well consistently, especially on HoF and Legend, but even AS is too hard for the casuals.
Back when it was easier, people wouldn’t admit when the easier gameplay allowed them to score—oh no. That was all skill. But when “Little Billy” scored because he checked his swing three times then hit a homer with less than perfect timing, the world was ending.
Say what you will about all that, but the game was more fun to play back then.
I don’t think they can go back now, though. The diehards have trained themselves to be better hitters. If they make it as easy to hit as it was in, say, 2016, everyone would seem like a goon, and the real goons would score 50 runs/game.
My view: SDS bowed to the hardcore crowd and sent the casual and somewhat dedicated MBLTS gamers to the showers. I don’t think it’s the all 99s that have turned people away. It’s having a lineup full of 99s and losing 1-0 that’s doing it.
Love the response. Would you also take into consideration that many of the casuals, or even some competitive players, who don't own monitors and play on a 60 inch tv simply cannot hit when speeds get too high due to input lag?
If you can’t turn on a fastball when the speeds get “too high” then you’re not a comp player. Simple as that.
First of all, it's not me, it's the casual player not playing on a 1ms monitor (which I have). Input lag absolutely takes the skill away from certain players playing on TVs. Not everyone buys a monitor.
Most people have TVs made after 2016 or 2017 by now, and input lag isn't a problem.

How is posting that you beat a player with 500 hours played, and they had all the best cards, critiquing the game? Because most of your posts are just that.
Yea calling folks losers, weirdoes for playing the game and for having a certain amount of hours invested and cards unlocked just screams Sammy77. For all the complaining you do, you could just of unlocked those cards or just found a game you liked already
