And the results were very good. Had 9 hits in first event game and 7 in second.. both brought in donaldson. Someone suggested it on a oost in forum and decided to give it a go. Its early yet, but i feel more focused on the ball/pitcher

Hey Bruno, that's cool, I'm new to this game, any tip you can give me, I appreciate it. I am from Brazil.

This helps if you are struggling on timing. For me it has a diminishing return as the success wears off. Currently I am using the out PCI only with a fade so that it is essentially not there as the pitch is thrown. I do this because I like to plant the free anchor and sometimes I forget where I put it.

What is the purpose of doing that? I’ve tried it before early on but gave up on it too after I kept forgetting about it’s location as well! Is it primarily for if you’re facing a pitcher who keeps in the same location? I’d really like to know if it’s something useful that perhaps I should reconsider at some point

Sometimes when playing online I will pick up on my opponents favorite location to throw a certain pitch. The free anchor isn't limited to one of nine positions. You can anchor your PCI wherever you want so I will lock it in the zone and wait on the pitch. I get too distracted by the PCI so I set it to fade. Yesterday I noticed that my opponent would almost always throw a slider on the second pitch of an at bat and it would be low and in. After several innings of anchoring up and in to time fastball I adjusted to low an in and started taking the first pitch. Five hits in a row and the guy quit.

How do you free anchor it? What buttons?

It is a setting not a button. It works the same as regular anchor. Move your PCI and then press down on L3 ( I think). Go to hitter settings and it is one of the options.

I tried anchor earlier in the year but found it threw off the way I move my pci naturally. I like the idea of the fade out as I use outer no fade. I used no pci years ago before I took a break and did good that way. Appreciate reading y'all's thoughts on this stuff.

I am still having very good results with no pci 5 and 1 in extreme events on HOF and getting lots of perfect perfects. Im gonna keep it going
