A feature that I think a lot of casual players would love to see added to Franchise mode, is a slider to change the number of games in a season and innings per game. As a player, 162 games can be really daunting and finding the hours to complete a single season is a big task. Not to mention we want to actually play the games and have more control over their outcome rather than leaving it up to the CPU and simming a game, leaving it to chance.

In past games, you used to be able to change dynamics like the season and game length. Giving the player the choice of the inning length per game would be solid. Additionally, adding a custom feature where you can change the number of games in a season to something like: 25, 50, 75, 100, 125, & 162 games would give players the opportunity to play however many games they want! You could alter those numbers as well maybe making it 40, 50, 81, 100, & 162 games respectively taking smaller increments of a full length season. All that would need to change are the calendars and opponents to reflect those changes which are truly just minor details. Maybe the fewer the games there are, the less out of division opponents there would be etc.

I would take it a step farther and allow us the ability to change the number of teams, so that you could easily play historical season more accurately. HH2k2 could do this, there is no reason a game made 21 years later can not.

I'm retired and have plenty of time to play, but I can see where it would be a problem if you're working.
