All Star Week HRD Moment Follies

Yeah these moments took way longer than they should off because Ramone wouldn’t throw strikes and when he did I was hitting nothing but doubles in the gaps. Hitting the line drive off his head was icing on the cake and flat out hilarious. Next time please just put in the BP Pitcher from last year or just a regular pitcher so these aren’t just a time sink.

So I finished the 3 HRD moments and it was as interesting as moments get. Took me about 25 minutes, so actually pretty good for me, and overall, I had fun.
First, I struck out 8 times over the 3, with Pantera being the big offender here.
Boy, Ramone sure paints a lot of corners and throws a lot of balls for a guy with BB/9 of 125 and K/9 of 0. Makes me wonder how much difference those attributes make in the game.
Finally, I beat the JRod one with an inside the parker when the RF dove for and missed a sinking liner. Not exactly in the spirit of the HRD but I'll take it.
But the practice must have done me some good. Hit Keller's 2nd pitch over the wall with Yandy. Still working on Bautista. Tried for about 20 minutes and gave up for now.
Absolutely agreed about Ramone, those were some annoying moments, Jrod was the hardest for me. Btw Vlads nickname is Plakata which translates to mean this
Again funny how people differ I did JRod one on first pitch, took me forever to do Robert and I don’t even know how long for Diaz
-
The Elias Diaz moment took me about 50 attempts until they got tired of me replaying it, so they lobbed me one middle middle to blast
-
Robert and Diaz took me the longest as well. Robert against Ramone was flat out awful with tons of weak contact. JRod on the other hand was fairly quick with the bonus of plunking Ramone square in the dome.

The Diaz moment was actually my hardest, the first 15 attempts i was just flailing at the plate, Bautista is very intimidating and it felt like his pitches were past home plate as soon as he threw them. But i finally got a pitch right down the middle, so i guess you just have to wait him out.

100% my experience. I wish I could use him in RS.

Look like Bautista spits the ball out of his funny bone and after his throwing arm is into its follow thru! Very hard to get a bead on…I know he’s frustrating to pitch with it’s about impossible to get his slider to break into the right half of the plate (his right) but man can he sling the rock
-
Or more like a little baby Voldemort arm attached to the top of his right shoulder that peeps out and tosses the ball after his follow thru begins! It’s so odd
-
Yea man Bautista’s fast ball is like he’s just reaching and handing it to the catcher from the plate. Wemby reach lol

I drew 7 walks with JRod and it took me over 100 games to get the egg for walks. The rest were okay but man I was going nuts with JRod. It was like last years game with Judge and his 62 homerun card. I swear it took me 62 tries to hit that one homerun.
