Pack gods have been good to me this year, 2 early Trout pulls before his value fell, and just nabbed Mookie and Incog Eric Davis int he last few days

This was me in 18. There were so many packs with cards that went for so much, Monthly Awards, the Collection sets where you had to get the equipment, all the souvenirs, and a lot more I know I'm forgetting. It was my first year so I stupidly would blow stubs on packs, it seemed like the next diamond was always in the next pack.
Luckily I wised up for 19.

If you have a specific player in mind, always buy off the marketplace, never packs!

Lesson #1: buy players off the market, do not buy packs. You learned the hard way like we all did at some point.

I figured I’d take a chance to get Elly De La Cruz from a pack but you people are such crooks!! I should’ve known better! Like an idiot I spent enough all my stubs over a million trying to get him where I could’ve just bought him on the marketplace. It will never happen again!!! A fool and his money are easily parted. If you thought spending over a million stubs for a chance to get a card selling for under 600k was a good idea, then you're beyond help.

I just opened 87 packs I received from Conquest, TA, and the Season 3 program and pulled 2 LS
. Kyle Tucker & Josh Hader. I'd have been angry if I had paid for them but since they were basically free, oh well. Would have like to pull EDC buy I guess I'll just have to wait since his FS card isn't good enough to use as my WC.
Maybe I'll get him in the next pack huh LOL -
I buy some cheap packs to guarantee a diamond. The 10k draft packs like that are all I would do.
So many people complain about packs. It’s gambling. Do you complain this much in Vegas?

I'm pretty sure I read that if you buy packs you are guaranteed to get the best cards. If that is the case, and what the OP is saying is true, he has a very valid complaint. You should submit a ticket and they'll probably realize their error and give you De La Cruz. Worth a shot I bet.

I went against my above post and bought 1 of the 10k Draft packs since it was a limited-time deal and you essentially get your stubs back. I got lucky and pulled the 99 round, took Paul Skenes as I've heard he is pretty nasty to face. His attributes and pitch mix seem solid.
I'm not going to touch the 50k packs, I know when my luck is gone. Maybe SDS will do something similar with the HRD cards tonight.

Why would you drop more stubs on packs attempting to get the card, than the actual cost of said card… then complain??
