I still don't see a good reason for expiring cards and it still blows my mind that people defend it.
If I learned anything around here throughout the years, it would be that people will go to extreme lengths to defend their favorite game. Positive bias is a very real thing.

I don't see a good reason for the players but I can see a good reason for SDS/Sony in the potential that people will buy more stubs in order to keep up. That they may use their stubs not just for a single Ohtani 99 card but for multiple ones. Whether that actually happens or not remains to be seen.

Not "a" conquest and miniseries. Most likely every conquest and mini series released as part of season 3, including the TA conquests.
Set 1 will be allowed in the US Map conquest, Default Mini Season, play vs CPU and any season 1 or 2 content you had not previously completed.
I get tired of hearing people say that it does not affect offline play. It does not affect it as completely as it does Ranked but it still affects it.

Maybe....just maybe...wait until Friday before throwing a hissy fit? You have no idea what will happen, stop acting like you do .

Making the game for Nintendo and Microsoft is by far the worst decision SDS has ever made.
As I understand it the decision was not theirs to make. I think MLB mandated it as part of the licensing agreement. Which would explain why MLB is listed as the publisher on the Xbox version.

I wouldn’t mind if not for them continuing to repeat cards. I had already leveled up my Marlins set. Now I gotta buy a new Sandy and Mike Lowell card. Wouldn’t be surprised to see ANOTHER Arraez card in set 3. At least give me some variety. Batting Champ Hanley, WS MVP Livan, Post Season Josh Beckett, Moises Alou. That’s just post season players. Marlins don’t have a long history but they’ve had great players and moments. I’m sure the same could be said for every other team I’m not familiar.

Every card was eligible for Season 2 so it’s not really a comparison.
Yeah, I don't know what point he was trying to make there either. Season 2 meant that core, set 1, and set 2 were eligible, which is literally every card in the game up until today. The fact that some maps required Season 2 lineups meant absolutely nothing. That won't be the case with Season 3.
