Yes, I know but I believe that’s a stupid reason. The way I see it if everybody sucks in your team then nobody should take a spot from another player that truly deserves it.

Have to say I agree with you. You know as a player it would make you feel like a total choade getting to dress knowing there’s someone out there clearly better than you. That would gnaw at me so it’s gotta do the same to them I’d hope

I agree but I think it all shakes out in the wash. Most years at least 10 guys from each team skips. Tatis should be an All Star for sure. Not sure how he got passed up, but he’ll be there in the end I’m sure

I’m kinda mixed on that rule. I think if fans actually voted for who deserves it, it wouldn’t exist. But fans vote for who they like instead and that left a lot of deserving players off the team before the rule existed.
