Future Stars today

What was the point of dropping 99's on day one, if every program was grind 97? When are these programs that take way too long to complete going to be for 99's? There are no words for the disappointment I feel in the direction you ( SDS ) have taken this year.

This is one program I can get behind only because I don’t like having tons of overpowered players who have never/barely played. If this wasn’t Future Stars, I’d be right there with you.

very reasonable pov. My point is just simply that this is another program that is following the same pattern they have been using this year and it's getting very old.

I'm curious to see if the Captains (Tucker and Kopech) could actually make a Future Star lineup worthwhile.

People get way to hung up on overall numbers. There are plenty of 97s that are very good, and after paralleling them a couple times they are 99s anyway if all you are worried about is the overall numbers.

I am someone who will use any card if I play well with it, but I never understand this argument. Maybe I don’t under how the parallel system works. Are you saying cards max out at 99 and a paralleled 99 really has no benefit over a 97?

Yeah I agree about using any card I play well with as well.
What I'm trying to say about the parallel, is that if you parallel a 97 a couple times they become a 99 anyway. That's why I don't get the complaints about the overalls. You can turn a 97 in to a 99 relatively easily if the overall is what someone is worried about.
