I have a PS4 (don't laugh) and looking to upgrade since online play is really laggy and inputs seem off IMO. 2 questions:

    1. Will the new console clear up lag and framerate issues especially in MLB ballparks?

    2. Will all of my stubs/ cards transfer over to the new console or will I have to start over?

    Thank you!

Yes itt will run smoother but this game runs on peer 2 peer connection the same mechanics that online games used 20 years ago. So it will always be laggy/dsynched

Your stuff will transfer over though

Yes and Yes. MLB parks will play the same as any other. Framerates will be fine. Internet lag of course will still be the same if playing H2H.

I know it’s a lot more expensive but if you can find a way to buy the series x, do it. It’s absolutely phenomenal.

Yes on both. Don't listen to the miserable whiners, you'll definitely notice a difference with next gen consoles!

Absolutely it’ll run smoother. I made the switch about a month ago abd got the series X and love it. Online was unbearable for me cause of the frame rate and literally seeing the ball teleporting from the pitchers hand to the plate.

I strike out way way less now and my record has improved but overall I still suck lol but yes Series X has definitely improved my game.

I got a series S a week after it was released and it is still running very well. I cant speak to users who have series x but as long as your internet is wired and you have a monitor, it should play a lot better for you.

In that case he can just get a PS5 and stay with a familiar console. My guess is he’s making his choice due to finances. If he has a PS4 Pro he’s making a lateral move from what I’ve read about the Series S. Same applies to switching from an XBox One X.

Precisely! I want a PS5 but I cannot justify that price point currently. Series S will get me through for now.

If you do ever make the switch back you can go digital edition. For me it wasn’t about the cheaper price point as much as that I legitimately had zero PS4 games on disc anyways and had converted to all digital gaming about 7 years prior to buying PS5 last February.
