Set 1 has plenty of time left. Supplement.

    Also, Aaron & Castellanos.

I’m no where close to the set 2 collections so Aaron isn’t really a option rn

And Nicky isn’t viable in the outfield for me- he’s a DH bat. his fielding is a liability

And I mean there’s a month left- that’s not tons of time but I’m guessing they will release new cards within the month

I just hope some of them are good RHB outfielders lol

Switch hitter, Tim Raines instantly became my leadoff hitter. Clemente, I’ve personally been hot and cold with since they put him in the game, but the Incognito card is solid so far.

Oh [censored] I forgot about Raines-

    He’s in TA2 right?

That’s def a viable option! Thanks man

Yep, TA2 NL EAST, if you liked Ray Durham last year, you’ll love Tim Raines.

You see the new Honus card? Could’ve sworn he had a bit more power last year

I did! I’m sure it’s still sneaky power though 🙂

In Diamond Duo packs, all the good cards are hidden behind pay walls. So, either buy them, or find some TA cards you do well with.

    Willy Mays!
Don’t let the attributes discourage you, card slaps, great defense

I forgot to add in my post that I absolutely cannot hit with Mays for some reason. I think it’s how close he is to the plate idk

But yea I might just have to use him until they release someone else. Who knows maybe I’ll get use to his stance

Do you have Hank Aaron? He is in the Set 2 collection, at least I am pretty sure I have that correct.

The commerce comet aka Mickey Mantle is a switch hitter. The the new Flying Dutchman aka Honus Wagner can play almost any position, there are a ton of great right handed hitters in TA2. To name a few.

    Roberto Clemente
    Tim Raines
    Chili Davis
    Al Kaline
    Witt Merrifield
    Kevin Youkilis
    Greg Vaughn

Do not overlook the Future stars

    Ceddanne Rafaela
    Zach Neto
    Kevin Alcantara

And then theres the other program players like Nelson cruz (boomstick) and Hunter Renfroe

Other options for Righty's in set 2 include

    Montie Irving
    Joe carter
    Mookie Betts
    Chris Taylor
    Nick Castellanos

So I’m trying to work on getting my squad set 2 ready.

This is my lineup as of now:

    Utley(1st), Trout(CF), Chipper(SS), Donaldson(3B), Larry Walker(RF), Trea(LF), JT(C), DJ BC Raw(2nd) and Slamtana(DH)

As you can see I have 3 lefties and I’m planning on picking Sizemore with my second boss pack which will make 4 LHBs in my lineup which is the most I feel comfortable with. I don’t want more than 4

Chipper will be my wildcard so my infield is set.

I’ll need to replace one more outfielder as I’ll have Larry Walker and Sizemore replacing Trout and Trea.

I’ve searched the market and couldn’t find any good right handed outfielders.

There tons of good right handed infielders for set 2 but I just don’t see any good OFs unless I’m missing something.

    Where are they?

    What about Monte Irvin?

If you really need to know just look at his 96 overall Takashi. So that was the one I accidentally spoke of. I did not just make it up as you wrongly imply. I do appreciate you fixing my mistake, but please do so in less of a childish manner. Thank you.

Whet are you talking about? I posted a pic of the 99 Honus from last years game who had 90 power Vs left and right like I said… you said he didn’t

But you were talking about 96 Takashi Honus- I wasn’t taking about him because the Honus that just came out on Friday is a 99

Hence me comparing 99 Honus from MLBTS23 to the 99 Honus from MLBTS22

There was nothing childish about what I did or how I responded to you- because again I had no idea what you were talking about…

Enjoy the rest of your weekend

His arm leaves a bit to be desired but the WBC Tre Turner is a dam good CF with great hitting. Because my infield is set with Chipper @3rd, Jeter @SS, Utley @2nd, & Ruth @1st, I will use Tre in CF and shift Mantle to LF just to keep him in the lineup.

I play Trout in center due to him having better arm strength

If you’re looking for the OP god squad righties - Hank (collection), Mays (Alter Ego rate), Mantle switch (chase pack). I realize that insanely expensive. Suitable options in the meantime.

    Al Kaline- TA 2
    Roberto Clemente - TA 2
    Raines - switch TA 2

Raines plays well above his attributes. My last game (which i won against SF by a score of 43-3 lol) Raines went 7-7 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles a tripple and 2 singles and 3 stolen bases. He's incredible.

    Where are they?

His arm leaves a bit to be desired but the WBC Tre Turner is a dam good CF with great hitting. Because my infield is set with Chipper @3rd, Jeter @SS, Utley @2nd, & Ruth @1st, I will use Tre in CF and shift Mantle to LF just to keep him in the lineup.

I have Trea in my lineup- he’s listed in the op as my LF

I play Trout in center due to him having better arm strength

Trout has better arm strength but Tre has better reaction. I was just saying that it would be perfectly acceptable to keep him in CF when all is said and done because of how good he is. BTW, how does Tre do in LF? I'm sure his arm strength and defense takes a decent hit with him not having LF as a secondary position.

There tons of good right handed infielders for set 2 but I just don’t see any good OFs unless I’m missing something.

arm strength doesn’t change in OOP

He has crappy arm strength in general that’s why I play him in LF instead of Center

His fielding in CF is 78 in LF it’s 74

He’s been fine and hasn’t made any errors- but I’m replacing him with Sizemore
